On Monday, January 16, Grace Emmanuel School fully opened its doors for its 19th school year. Of the 388 students enrolled, 195 were at school the first day—just over 50%.

Every year since Grace Emmanuel School opened its doors in 2004, there has been a Christmas party. It’s a joy-filled day unlike any other throughout the year, with skits and dances presented by different classes, a gift given to each student, and special food and drinks. Many students say it’s the best day of the year.

Before every new year begins, school staff interview and photograph each student at Grace Emmanuel School. All of the answers are used to send a brief biography along with an updated photo to sponsors every school year.
