The Lighthouse Legacy Fund was established in 2017 to help provide education and living assistance for young adults no longer living at the Lighthouse who are still furthering their education.
Currently the Lighthouse Legacy Fund is supporting:
- Johnny and Peterson as they finish high school in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti
- Gervens as he continues attending a special needs school in Port-au-Prince
- Anne Marie, Fedner, Kimberly and Robenson as they attend trade schools in the Dominican Republic
- Ricardo living with foster parents outside Cabaret
The level of support is determined on a person-by-person basis, and beyond tuition and school supplies often includes rent and a stipend for living expenses.
