“I will never stop thanking Him”

If you were to compose the soundtrack for this past year in Haiti, you might fill it with dissonance and minor chords, making it unsettled and dark. Portions might even sound like a child’s banging on the piano, void of any rhythm or structure or beauty.

And yet, when we listen to the voices of those who have lived through it reflect on the myriad of ways God daily provided for them, the soundtrack starts to shift.

The melody of God’s faithfulness begins to swell, steadily rising above the chaotic noise of this world.

We asked staff members and students at Grace Emmanuel School how they have seen God’s faithfulness in their lives this year and have shared their responses below. May the beauty of their trust in God be an encouragement to you during this focused time of gratitude.

We are grateful for YOU. Your prayers and support for JiHM this past year have met countless needs, encouraged so many people, and brought much glory to God.

Happy Thanksgiving!
