On June 27, one of Grace Emmanuel School’s classrooms filled with proud parents, teachers, and bright young voices as we celebrated a joyful milestone: 18 kindergarteners moving on to first grade.

These children were the smallest preschoolers at GES when the school was forced to flee its campus in April 2023. Now, two years later, they stood tall—reciting poems, singing songs, and sharing their learning with confidence and joy.

This special classroom celebration has taken the place of our larger kindergarten graduation ceremonies, which have become too costly. But the heart of the event remained unchanged: honoring hard work, growth, and God’s faithfulness in each young life.
