Among the students who have attended Grace Emmanuel School longest is a soft-spoken 11th grader named Kingkino.

It’s always with much joy in the depths of my heart that I write you with words of thanks for the beautiful things you do for the children of Haiti. I always swell with pride every time I see the passion and love you have in your hearts for the children.

Due to an ongoing political crisis and growing insecurity in Haiti, Grace Emmanuel School was unable to hold regular classes from the end of September until the beginning of December.
