Right now in Haiti, families displaced by gang violence are simply trying to survive from day to day. There’s little room to dream about the future—and no money for education.
Grace Emmanuel School continues to stand in that gap, providing a free, quality Christian education so that every child can know abundant life in Jesus Christ—no matter the challenges they face.
But because of the desperate situation in Haiti, Grace Emmanuel is now serving more students than ever before. As the number of students has grown, so has the cost.
That’s why we’re excited to invite you to invest in Grace Emmanuel School through a new program: the Classroom Champion Program.
Working hand-in-hand with our incredible student sponsors, Classroom Champions commit to giving $25 or more per month to support an entire classroom. Your gift helps provide classroom materials, teacher support, student care, and more.
As a Classroom Champion, you’ll receive a photo of the class you support, as well as the first names of the students so you can pray for them throughout the year. You’re invited to stick with your class through graduation and celebrate how God is at work in their lives.
Why the school matters
For Dieula, whose daughter began preschool this year, support from Grace Emmanuel School is a gift from God.
“God brought me to this place,” she said. “I didn’t have money to pay for school. God put Grace Emmanuel School on my path so I could send my daughter to school for free. It’s a huge help for parents who are in need.”
Marthe, a graduating senior, shared how God has used her sponsors to encourage her. “Because of the school, the sponsors know us, and they are praying for us,” she said. “They could just pray for their families and friends, but God puts it on their hearts to pray for us. That means a great deal to me.”
Sonia, a staff member and mother of two GES students, said: “It’s because of this place that my kids have so many of their needs met. It helps the kids, and their parents too. I thank God for that.”
