On the last day of January, Grace Emmanuel School’s Class of 2025 took part in Philosophers Day, a special day of fun and learning held for seniors across Haiti every year.

The 13 seniors spent the day at a local beach resort, beginning their time with a devotional, then a presentation about Thomas Aquinas from a guest speaker, a delicious meal, and fun in the pool.

Especially amidst the chaos and difficulties of life lately, this day has become all the more special to seniors each year.

“True happiness,” said Djemima, who has been attending Grace Emmanuel School for 3 years, “is engraving our hearts with good memories of unforgettable people.”

Her classmate, Mickerlange, agreed with the sentiment. “Life becomes easier when we have people to complete our moments.”
