15 Years of Hustling for Haiti: 2025 Haitian Hustle Wrap-Up

For 15 years, the Haitian Hustle 5K has provided an opportunity for people across the world to remember and run alongside their brothers and sisters in Haiti.

This summer, communities in Becker and Bemidji, MN, Woodland, CA, and Fort Wayne, IN, joined together with virtual Hustlers from 15 states to remember and stand with those in Haiti. More than 500 runners and walkers participated this year, combining to raise over $39,000 to support students in Haiti—a new record.

Later this fall, the Hustle will conclude where the heart of the event beats the strongest—with friends in Haiti running their own race. From its beginning in 2011, the Hustle has always been about running alongside our brothers and sisters in Haiti—remembering one another, not with pity, but with the fellowship and love we share in Christ.

This 15th year brought a splash of purple—the final color to complete the rainbow of Hustle shirts worn through the years. Together, these shirts stand as a testimony to God’s faithfulness.

JiHM’s director of operations, Roger, had the joy of joining Hustlers this year in both Becker and Fort Wayne.

“It’s incredible to feel the energy and see the dedication of everyone involved,” he reflected. “Every location carries the same spirit of teamwork that makes our ministry possible. It was a privilege to serve alongside those who are running to support those that I cherish and love so much in Haiti.”

As we close out this milestone year, we give thanks—for sponsors who invested, for promoters who organized, for prayer warriors who lifted up every step of the process, and for every runner and walker who joined the race. Together, you lived out this year’s theme verse, Hebrews 13:3, in a powerful way.

“Continue to remember… those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” —Hebrews 13:3

Mark your calendars for Hustle #16, kicking off in August 2026. Until then, may we continue to remember those who are suffering, carrying their burdens as if they were our own in the body of Christ.

If you’d like to turn your Hustle into a marathon and make an impact year-round, consider sponsoring a student or a classroom at Grace Emmanuel School.
